Voice and Diction
training for a
lasting change to your sound
Few of us are really happy with the sound of our own voice when we listen to a recording. That is natural because we seldom hear ourselves as others do.

The simple answer for many people is to accept the difference. For others, there is a realisation that their speech has other issues in need of remedy. They may speak too fast, have trouble with certain word or letter combinations, or the formation of sounds may be difficult because of habit or accent.

This sort of issue is beyond the scope of a one day presentation course and we are pleased to introduce our associate, Denise Baglow. As well as assisting on presentation courses, Denise extends our service into long term speech and diction training.

Denise began her study of Voice and Diction at the tender age of seven, and later attended the New College of Speech and Drama in London as a (somewhat younger) contemporary of the talented actress Helen Mirren.

In 1995 Denise set up her own performing arts school for children. She also began teaching speech and drama to private students who wished to prepare for LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) examinations in acting and the speaking of verse and prose. Denise has continued her own professional acting career with parts in such favourites as Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Where The Heart Is and plays for Radio 4.
